The original 1920s house was a maze of small rooms with tiny casement windows and low ceilings. By excavating the floor, installing large sash windows and many steels, we provided spacious and airy rooms. A large extension was also added providing the scale and character of a house suitable to such a magnificent site.
Internally traditional cornices and mouldings were installed, along with a sweeping staircase, marble flooring and chandeliers, giving the house a touch of grandeur.
